This policy explains how this website, operated by LASERTECH, Matej Zidarič s.p., Krška vas 71, 8262 Krška vas, Slovenia (lasertech.svn@gmail.com), uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage. Personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

1. Necessary cookies

The shop uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for it to work. They are provided by the shop platform (Shopify) and are used, for example, to:

  • remember the items in your cart and enable checkout;
  • keep your session and remember your language and country or currency selection;
  • protect the shop and checkout against fraud and abuse and keep them secure;
  • remember your cookie and privacy choices.

These cookies do not need your consent where the law allows. They cannot be switched off in our system, but you can block them in your browser settings, in which case parts of the shop, such as the cart and checkout, will not work. Their names and lifetimes are set by the platform and may change over time.

2. Analytics

We do not use Google Analytics, and we do not use analytics cookies from other providers beyond what is necessary for the shop to work.

3. Advertising technologies (Google Ads)

LaserTech uses or may use Google Ads to measure how effective its advertising is and, if enabled, to show relevant advertisements. This is the only advertising technology we use or plan to use at present; we do not use Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or other advertising trackers.

  • Conversion measurement: to find out which advertisements led to a purchase or an inquiry.
  • Remarketing, if enabled: to show advertisements to people who have visited the shop.
  • These technologies may use cookies, advertising identifiers and similar online identifiers, and may send information about your visit, such as pages viewed and order events, together with your IP address, to Google (Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area, which may transfer data to Google LLC and other group companies, with the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy).
  • They are used only with your consent where consent is legally required. Until you accept, no advertising cookies or identifiers are set and no advertising data is sent to Google. Consent is requested through the cookie banner, which is shown whenever such technologies are enabled.
  • Consent is not preselected. You may accept, reject or choose individual categories, and Accept and Reject are equally easy to use. If you reject, you can still browse and buy as normal.

4. Google Maps

The map on the Contact page is not loaded when you open the page. It loads only after you click "Load map". Once loaded, Google may set cookies and receive technical data such as your IP address, according to Google's terms. If you do not click, nothing is sent to Google for the map.

5. Managing your choices

  • When the cookie banner is shown, you can accept, reject or customise non-essential categories.
  • You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the privacy preferences link of the shop. Withdrawing consent applies for the future.
  • You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

6. Changes

If we add analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies, or change the providers we use, we will ensure that consent is handled before they run and we will update this policy to describe them, including the cookies used, their purposes and retention periods.
