Terms & Conditions

1. Seller

In these terms, "LaserTech", "we" and "us" mean this seller. These terms apply to purchases made by consumers through this online shop. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.

2. Products and prices

  • Product descriptions, specifications and images on the product pages form part of the offer. Technical information is given on each product page.
  • Prices shown to consumers include VAT where applicable.
  • Delivery charges are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. We do not charge mandatory fees that are not shown to you before payment.
  • The final total is shown before you place your binding order.

3. Placing an order and formation of the contract

  1. Adding a product to the cart is not an order and does not create a contract.
  2. Before you pay, you can review and correct the products, quantities, delivery details and the total price at checkout.
  3. The final checkout button clearly states that placing the order obliges you to pay. By clicking it, you submit a binding order.
  4. After you place your order, we send an order receipt to the email address you provided. This receipt confirms that we have received your order; it is not yet our acceptance.
  5. The contract is concluded when we confirm that we accept your order by email (order confirmation). If we cannot accept an order, we tell you without undue delay and refund any payment made.
  6. We may refuse or cancel an order only for legitimate reasons, such as an obvious error in the displayed price or product information, the product being unavailable or impossible to supply, a suspected fraud or unauthorised payment, or an inability to deliver to your destination. In that case we inform you promptly and refund any amount paid. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  7. We keep the contract data in our order records. You can request a copy of your order confirmation at any time.

4. Payment

The payment methods available are displayed at checkout. Payment is processed through the checkout of our online shop. You are charged the total shown at checkout. Where a payment method requires additional authentication, you must complete it for the order to be processed.

5. Delivery

LaserTech ships worldwide and selects the carrier. The delivery charge depends on the destination and the weight of the shipment and is shown at checkout before you pay. Local pickup is not available. Delivery options, charges, free shipping for orders over €400 in Europe, estimated dispatch and delivery times and the passing of risk are described on the Delivery page, which forms part of these terms.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal as described on the Returns and right of withdrawal page, including the model withdrawal form. The statutory exception for goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised applies as described there.

7. Custom work

For products made to your specification or sketch, the usual process is: inquiry, then specification and quote, then your approval, then an order or invoice with a payment link sent by us, and finally payment through the secure checkout of our shop. The quote states the product, its specification, the price, delivery charges and the expected production time. The contract is concluded under section 3 once you have approved the quote and placed the order. Where the goods are genuinely made to your specification or clearly personalised, the right of withdrawal does not apply to them, and the quote tells you this before you order. A custom work inquiry is non-binding for both parties.

8. Conformity of goods (legal guarantee)

  • We are liable for any lack of conformity of the goods that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within the statutory period, in accordance with the Slovenian consumer protection legislation implementing EU law. The statutory period is at least two years from delivery.
  • Goods are in conformity if they match the description, quantity, quality and functionality agreed and shown on the product page, are fit for the purposes for which goods of that kind are normally used, and come with the accessories and instructions to be expected.
  • If the goods do not conform, you are entitled to have them brought into conformity (repair or replacement) free of charge, and, where the law provides, to a price reduction or to terminate the contract and receive a refund. Repair or replacement is done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you. We bear the reasonable costs of delivery and return in such cases.
  • These rights are your statutory rights. They apply in addition to any manufacturer's guarantee and are not replaced or limited by any commercial warranty.

9. Complaints and non-conformity

If you have a complaint, email lasertech.svn@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the problem and, where useful, photos. You can also call 040 630 636. We acknowledge your complaint and respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within the deadlines set by law. We do not impose unreasonable requirements on the exercise of your consumer rights.

10. Safe use of products

Some products are used in demanding or potentially hazardous settings. You are asked to use products only for their intended purpose, to follow the instructions and safety information provided with the product or on its product page, and to take reasonable care. Product-specific information, such as materials, dimensions and fitting, is stated on the relevant product page and describes that product only. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights or our liability under mandatory product safety and product liability law.

11. Liability

We are liable for damage in accordance with applicable law. We do not exclude or limit liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, for liability under product liability law, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, and we do not limit any of your statutory consumer rights. Subject to this, our liability for damage caused by simple negligence is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as carrier disruption or natural events, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Intellectual property

The content of this website that LaserTech creates, such as texts, product descriptions, design, logos and photographs, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights belonging to LaserTech or used with permission. You may view it and use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use, including copying or publishing, needs our prior written consent. Third-party platform software, trademarks and materials remain the property of their respective owners, and we make no claim to them.

13. Personal data and cookies

14. Governing law and disputes

  • These terms and the contract are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country where you live, and you cannot lose them by this choice of law.
  • We would like to resolve any problem directly with you first, so please contact us at lasertech.svn@gmail.com.
  • Consumers may also use an out-of-court dispute resolution body. A list of registered out-of-court consumer dispute resolution bodies in Slovenia is published by the Slovenian Ministry responsible for the economy on gov.si. Participation by the trader in out-of-court procedures is voluntary unless the law provides otherwise; we consider each such request in good faith.
  • You can also contact the Market Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia (Tržni inšpektorat RS) or the consumer authority of the country where you live. The courts that have jurisdiction under the applicable law can decide a dispute; as a consumer you may bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live where the law gives you this right.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for the future, for example when the law or our services change. The terms in force at the time of your order apply to that order.
